As Doctor Who story a great opener for doctor who series never was and thought was so unlucky  at the time been judged  too quickly  at time by who fans  and unknown to them that Russell T Davis just getting  rights to bring doctor who back  with the troubles to get shalka off to ground far better then 1996 DOCTOR WHO  MOVIE that had classic invasion with new kind of alien and strong charters also has that feel what is great doctor who that makes you rewatch it .
Richard E. Grant brought something new and dark to the role of the doctor with some great humor  moments to the script .
